Oney Terms and Conditions
1. Conditions
This offer is reserved for individuals (1) resident in Spain who hold a Visa or Mastercard bank card issued by a Spanish establishment and with an expiry date longer than the duration of the chosen financing. Prepaid cards and American Express are not accepted. The customer can pay in instalments, provided that the time between the date of contracting the ticket and the date of commencement of the journey is more than 14 days.
2. Subscription conditions
After completing your order, click the "3x or 4x Oney payment button with bank card". You will then be redirected to the Oney page, which displays the detailed summary of your order and the personalised financing application, which you will need to validate. You will enter your personal information or, if you have a 3x 4x Oney account, identify yourself using the login details linked to your account.
Read the general terms and conditions for payment in instalments to which you wish to subscribe. The Terms are provided in PDF format so you can read, print, and save them before accepting them. It will then notify you of your electronic acceptance using the corresponding checkbox. You acknowledge that the "double click" associated with the checkbox in the reading of the general conditions constitutes consent to the contract and the irrevocable and unreserved acceptance of the general conditions of the product. Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by Oney constitutes proof of all transactions between you and Oney. Suppose you apply to benefit from a financing solution offered by Oney. In that case, the information relating to your order will be transmitted to Oney, who will use it to study your application for the granting, management and recovery of the credit. Oney reserves the right to accept or reject your request for financing in 3x 4x Oney. You have a 14-day withdrawal period to waive your credit.
3. Operation
The payment of your flight ticket in 3 or 4 instalments by credit card is made as follows:
On the day of the booking, the first instalment of the payment plan indicated in the particular conditions of the contract is paid.
Then, you will pay 2 or 3 monthly instalments, each corresponding to a third or a quarter of the order, made 30 and 60 days later for the deferral in 3 instalments and 30, 60 and 90 days later for the deferral in 4 instalments. The fees include the cost of formalisation. The formalisation cost for deferral in 3 instalments is 3%, and for deferral in 4 instalments, it is 4.52%.
Example of deferral for purchase of EUR 300 in 3 instalments, with a formalisation fee of 3%:
- Order amount: EUR 300
- Formalization cost: 3% of EUR 300 = EUR 9 (to be distributed among the 3 instalments)
- Installments: 3 payments of EUR 103
- Total amount due: EUR 309 (including financed management fees of EUR 9. NIR 0% APR (43.79%)
Example of deferral for purchase of EUR 400 in 4 instalments, with a formalisation fee of 4.52%:
- Order amount: EUR 400
- Formalization cost: 4.52% of EUR 400 = EUR 18.08 (to be distributed between the 3 instalments)
- Installments: 4 payments of EUR 104.52
- Total amount due: EUR 418.08 (including financed management fees of EUR 18.08. NIR 0% APR (43.79%)
4. Payment dispute
If Oney refuses the instalment plan, KLM will not issue the ticket. In case of non-payment or dispute over the total or partial payment of the sums which the customer is obliged to pay, Oney will contact the customer and take necessary action. The instalment plan is an agreement between the customer and Oney.
KLM reserves the right to take any legal action against a customer who has purchased their ticket fraudulently.
5. Withdrawal period
For payment in 3 or 4 instalments by bank card with Oney, the customer has a legal withdrawal period of 14 calendar days from accepting the general conditions. If the customer waives their credit, the charge for the transport service will be borne by KLM, and they must contact our partner, Oney, directly to make the withdrawal. The customer must then pay for the ticket directly to KLM under the conditions stipulated in the section "Payment for your order: methods, security and controls" of KLM's general terms and conditions of sale.
In the event of modification of the transport service at the customer's initiative:
The customer shall pay any additional costs in cash directly to KLM and its external service providers according to the ticket conditions provided by KLM. In this case, the remaining monthly instalments will continue to be paid on the due dates initially provided in the financing contract, which will not be modified.
6. Cancellation
In the event of total cancellation (2) of the trip by KLM:
In the event of total cancellation of the journey and by KLM's general terms and conditions of sale, the financing will be cancelled. Our partner, Oney, will refund the customer all sums charged according to KLM's general terms and conditions of sale and refund conditions.
In the event of partial cancellation (3) of the trip by KLM:
In the event of a partial trip cancellation, the credit will be modified to the amount of the new ticket, thus reducing the repayment period and the amount of the last monthly payments or cancellations. Oney will refund the customer the proportional part of the formalisation costs corresponding to the partial cancellation. The new payment plan will be communicated to the customer by e-mail.
7. Promo Code
Oney supports a promo code. The value of the code will be deducted from the amount transmitted to Adyen via Oney.
Oney is a payment method that allows instalment purchases through distance contracting. It is offered by Oney Servicios Financieros EFC, SAU, a financial entity registered and supervised by the Bank of Spain with number 8814.
(1) An individual is an adult natural person. Individuals acting for professional purposes are expressly excluded.
(2) Cancellation of the round trip.
(3) Cancellation of outbound or return trip.
