Racing down the slide at 80 km per hour
Another world-famous attraction in Dubai is the Wild Wadi Waterpark amusement park, close to the famous Burj Al Arab hotel. The water park is based on the Arabian story of Sinbad the Sailor and the characters from the story figure prominently. The park boasts more than 24 slides, wave pools and wild water rides. Some of the slides are 30 metres high, generating speeds of up to 80 km per hour.
Indoor ski paradise
There is no need to bring your skis to indulge in an afternoon of skiing in Dubai. All the equipment is available for rent at the world’s largest indoor ski slope, including winter clothing. This covered ski paradise offers 5 different ski runs, a chair lift and a 3000 square metre fun park. The longest run measures 400 metres and has a 60-metre drop. Daredevils may opt for the black run with a 35-degree slope.
Playing and swimming with dolphins
Dolphin Bay is a park where visitors can play and swim with dolphins. Age is not a problem; there is a special programme for every age group to interact with these magnificent creatures in the water. Frolicking with a dolphin doesn’t come cheap; expect to spend around 200 euro per person. But for many people this will be the experience of a lifetime and a dream come true.
Wonderland Theme Park
The Wonderland near the Atlantis Hotel is a family amusement park for all ages. The park is divided into 3 different sections. Like so many other parks in Dubai, Wonderland offers many indoor and outdoor water attractions. The heart of Wonderland encompasses a huge hall with more than 100 attractions and video games. Go-carting, camel rides, a 3D theatre or paint ball - this is the place to be.
